some potential difficult games I could only see the gap reduced to 8 and us winning it the 28th April as the worst case scenario

The problem with a guard of honour against the rags is that there will be 3,000 of the fuckers in the ground. The next home game is Swansea and they probably won't take the full allocation meaning more City fans in the ground.
But Swansea is also FAC semi-final weekend which may have an impact on the date of the game.
But remember - your mileage may vary, and there might be a few twists along the trail. Not as many as 2011-12 or the latter stages of 2013-14 please.

It's very unlikely to be mathematically over by then. 91 points will do it I think, united will at least drop 5 points over the next 14
