As opposed to someone receiving an unexpected call to say you’re in the first team squad today.
We have three kids on the bench as it is and they played yesterday.
Huge fuss bout nothing.

No reason not to pick one of the kids for the bench, even if he has no intention of playing him.
He can just be there, for the experience. And it's good publicity for the academy, having players involved.
This just invites bad publicity & we have 100s of people just waiting for that opportunity, they have now been given..
