Iconic Album with a iconic front cover which epitomizes the album - politically charged high energy Rock, Rap and Metal - not many albums have had as much impact being so politically charged (never mind the bollox ? ) beauty of this album is that tracks only used by guitar, drums and a screaming rap vocalist in De La Rocha - no dubbing or synthetic sounds.
All tracks are fiery, powerful and angry, the target of their lyrics is the political elite, establishment, oppression and right wing extreme groups - guitarist Tom Morello deserves a mention, incredibly talented riffs using alot of innovative techniques.
'Killing In The Name' is the stand out track - recently made famous again for viral campaign to topple the X factor number 1, along with 'Take The Power' and 'Know Your Enemy'. Wake Up!

8.4/10

As a fan of the idea of rap metal crossovers this album is the pinnacle. It’s not an easy combination to perfect as judged by the 99% of shite that it produces. Deserves more than an 8/10

It does. But not to me personally who’s not a lover of rap/metal - however I did enjoy it and listening again right now.

All 4 Rage albums were great IMO, and it is truly laughable that this is given 8/10. It started a movement, and started it by being the best there was. Sensational and still sounds good today.
