At just under 600 pages it is possibly, as at least one reviewer has said, a bit overblown, just like the music it celebrates. Can't wait to get stuck into it though

Yes, for what was the new wave of prog, at that time in the early 80s anyway, those first 4 Marillion albums were absolutely unsurpassed. I still follow Fish on tour to this day.

As do I, but his voice is shot, haven't talked myself into splashing out on tickets for this year yet

Not a prog fan but as a more mainstream rock fan, I'm a big Rush fan, but how do you proggers rate them.

Got quite a few Rush albums....always had them down as great followers of a genre rather than innovators. Brilliant for a 3 piece, the Prof.will be sadly missed.
