Bands that sound a lot like other bands

Creedence sound like every other band at the time (except for John Fogerty's voice of course, which is inimitable.) Sometimes they sound like Ricky Nelson. Sometimes they sound like Booker & The MGs. Sometimes they sound like Ronnie Hawkins & The Band. That's what few people thought about CCR. How perfectly executed they were.
Rockabilly, Swamp Rock, R&B, and Country. They were the perfect American band because they synthesized all those influences. BRB, going to listen to Willy & The Poor Boys.

One of the best, if not the best, American bands. Literally dozens of classics to their name.
