Wigan FA Cup post-match thread

Annoying as it is games like this happen. If we don't score theres always the chance. Take it and move on on another day its not like that and we haven't had many like that this season.
 
Not a great way to go into a cup final. We can all blame the referee, he got it wrong, we all know he's a fukin cheat but the performance was poor.
 
Danilo is worse than Kolarov for shooting when he shouldn’t. Awful night but we need to get our shit together before Sunday, still a historic season in the making. Come on blues!
 
It’s a game we shouldn’t have lost but nonetheless we were rather poor throughout.

I will forgive Walker for his error as he is usually excellent but there are still big question marks as to whether the likes of Stones, Bernardo, Gundogan and Danilo will make it here.
 
There is something about Wigan. Big upset. Again done by them. We have to take it on the chin. Don’t think red card hurt us as much as squandering half chances. But maybe being out of the FA Cup is a blessing. As winning the overly mentioned quadruple is simply too much to ask from any team. Let’s be realistic about that, it was and is not gonna happen. We need again a big response from the boys.

Yes really, dominated them by passing it round sideways. Their keeper made one save that I remember from Aguero. Hardly caused him many problems.

Walker and Danilo looked like they had all their ability sucked out of them, midfield so slow and turgid until KDB came on. Aguero spent more time on the byline than the linesman. All in all a shambles really, not sure what the team shape was supposed to be but all over the shop today.

we didnt play terrible though did we. its difficult as well when they put everyone behind the ball.
