Wigan FA Cup post-match thread

Not too upset about going out as four trophies was always a huge task and never really on. Wigan threw themselves at all our shots and they got away with it, the ball never dropped kindly for us.
 
Beyond the measured criticism, this thread is definitely full of rags tonight, unsurprisingly.
 
Just what world do these pundits live in... first half dominated possession, more shots, more corners more everything... matched us in the first half though? Second half we actually dominated them even more especially after De Bruyne came on but Walker tried to be too clever and gave them a chance we couldn't afford to give them a chance to hold on to something against 10 men. Should have settled for the replay at home IMO and give the ref/4th official the slating he deserves for caving into the home teams demands.
 
This aside the cheating **** changes his mind from yellow worst tackle on Aguero before yet gets a yellow...



Anyway did fuck all to win it well done Walker...

Aguero Should've twatted that inbred fucker at the end... Wigan should be fined for not controlling there fans...
 
try this Pep. play your best side, take off the players you want to after a lead is established. go on give a try, you know you want to.

you simply cannot rotate with the agenda we have against us. should be able to but the truth is you cant.

Why would City continuously play high crosses when they had giants for defenders, and we had in the box...Aguero??
This game was crying for someone who could dribble into the box and either take a shot or earn a penalty, someone like....Sterling? why was he not even in the squad??

The ref was crap, gave a red card and then started favoring us to compensate, as if that would cover for the player sent off!!
 
Watching the goal back, Stones and Walker to blame. Bravo too slow to narrow angle.
Ref was appalling, but we have no one else to. Lame for the missed gilt edged chances.
