It’s started in earnest, the ban witch hunt.Local paper the Metro and the Express describing it as a punch and an attack. The reporter’s clear bias ( Mikael something) is self evident in his articles listed underneath brown nosing United/ Ronaldo etc.
 
The fan came on the pitch and put his hands on Sergio.

Sergio had every right to brush him away. Shouldn't be a ban.

Wigan should be fined for failing to control the crowd.
 
first point from the FA handbook - supporters must not come onto the playing surface - once that is breached Wigan are in the shit - the fact their supporter was involved in an altercation with an opposition player whoever that was is almost academic - the "fan" shouldn't have been there so any scuffle is down to the club and the fan unless there is video to show Sergio just jumped they guy fpr no reason and twatted him - and I can't say that video has been found or shown
