Sergio pitch incident at end of game

I really hope City continue to pressure the FA regarding Sergio. Just because they aren't taking any action against him doesn't mean they've acted fairly toward him. Being "reminded of his responsibilities" is a weak, meaningless cop-out from the FA, it allows them to reach the right conclusion without having to officially place responsibility where it actually lies, with Wigan and their fans. Has anyone ever know the FA to make a decision regarding discipline and announce their findings in such a short period of time, less than 20 hours from start to finish, that's says it all. Once again, the silence from Gordon Taylor is deafening, the safety of PFA members was compromised on Monday night by inadequate security resources and he should be all over it.

Being "reminded of his responsibilities" is a phrase that they said to Taylor before the game. Over half a million watch football in the top four divisions each weekend and yet they are treated like shit by the respective governing bodies. Any other business would have been forced into administration if they pissed off so many of their customers so often yet football continues in its own merry way doing what they want with no recourse. Still waiting for an explanation of the yellow card turning into a red trick, the lack of card for the Wigan player in the fourth minute despite a free kick being awarded etc.

Why haven’t these cnuts been picked up by the plod yet? If this was any of our lot, the riot squad would have been knocking down their doors Tuesday morning.
You're joking did you see how long it took to react at the game? Quick they aren't lol!

The superintendent for GMP said "As soon as people were on the pitch, we immediately deployed our resources to the front of the stands ......." Immediately ??? The bloke is a politician saying "deployed". Deployed = "right lads, can you get over to the DW to help out, no rush, finish your brews first". Absolute joke !

Its not the fault of the police. It is solely Wigan's responsibility to 'police' the game inside the stadium and ensure the safety of the public. They failed.

Police officers cannot magically appear-they would have been 'deployed' outside the stadium in the main.

Not a pop at you but .....not prepared? It's like Hillsborough never happened.

The Cops/Stewards & Wigan should all be hanging thier heads in shame but for the City fans it could have been a disaster in the making. Imagine if the away end was full of Leeds or even a West Ham....
Bad example to use. They beat them in the previous round there!

Now if you'd said Millwall.......

I do not see the big deal about this besides the police seemed to be a bit of a shambles. It is not like Wigan fans are known for being calm gentle souls.

Weirdo runs up into kins face, grabs him, kun shoves him off, he spits at kun and for a milisecond Kun seers red but is held back whilst he calms down.

Some are saying "well you did in in 2012" well yes but the scenario is markedly different. We had no intention of laughing in QPR players faces, indeed they may have well not been there.

To be honest i'd be ready for war if a load of Wigan fans ran on to the pitch, they have a lot of form for still being in the 80's talking about "firms" and other cringe worthy bollocks. The way he ran up to Kun was out of order, you get in someones face like that on the street you get knocked out and everyone would say you deserved it to.
How the hell was Kun to know the fellas intentions.

Well done Wigan but your fans need to wise up, you just got a great victory, your fans should have been running explicitly to your players to give them a pat on the back.
