Thinking about an earlier post re Sanchez , and the way that he moved to the Rags.

Do players NEED to be so influenced by their agents , regarding the amounts of money they will earn ?

Is Sanchez intending to look after the whole of Chile and not just his family ? The amounts involved are obscene , and he is hardly likely to be on his uppers after his career at Barca, and Arsenal .

If he truly would have preferred to play for Pep, why didn't he just say no to the United move.

Maybe it wasnt the money that swung it for him, maybe it was free use of the piano.

He’ll probably play most weeks, which he couldn’t guarantee here. Also, he’ll likely be the main man, like he was at Arsenal, a role which he would be very unlikely to fill at City. It keeps the narrative all about Sanchez which I think both he and his agent prize quite highly. Winning stuff, on the other hand, looks like it has limited appeal which, given he’s 30 later this year, is a little surprising.

On a serious note, what do you think has happened to Sanchez since becoming a rag? He's a shadow of his former self under Maureen so what could the Pulis tribute artist have done to totally fuck things up in the way that he obviously has with Sanchez?

There's obviously a great deal that goes on behind the scenes at the swamp than the likes of us will never know, but Maureen and/or a few players must have said or done something to unsettle him.

He's burdened him so much with defensive responsibilities that he's got no time or energy for doing anything creative.
