Top day. I managed to procure a duplicate ticket in the upper tier of our end, which meant I had to sit on the stairs at the end of an aisle. Does anyone have the other picture of the City end? It must be at full time as everyone is celebrating and the scoreboard is showing 1-4.

Top tier. My mates Dad got the ball smashed in his face by Nicky Weaver. My mate who I travelled with played for Blackburn with David Dunn as a kid so I got my ticket from him for £15! great day! Lost my voice

Most of them I would expect, and we'll see it before the end of the season too.

Not a criticism of the current team at all. Just an observation about how much football (especially at City) has changed.

Think the Blackburn grounds man made a few quid that day. Know loads who got tickets off him.

Les Corrigan - big blue with his crutch. Also huge blues mike Holden and tommo in the picture near the front. They used to do the fanzine chips and gravy.

I taught the three of them all they know ;)

Fantastic memories of that day. Was in the Social Club at Platt Lane.
Went round toMaine Road afterwards thousand(s) of fans did the same.
Had a blue Metro City car which I drove up/down Maine Road - beeping the horn in staccato style -
Can't believe it was 18 years ago.
