Regardless of the rules - the Dippers will make sure they go into pot 1 - and the FA will take up their cause.

Pot 1 contains champions of the 7 biggest leagues plus the CL champions.
If they do happen to fluke a win they’ll be in pot 1 too is how I understand it.
Think we would go into pot 2.

We will be in pot 1 - but those pesky cheats at UEFA will see to it that we get the top seeded team from pot 2, 3 & 4. So whilst we are playing the runners up from Spain. Italy and Germany the Rags and Dippers will still be playing the Champions on Andorra,Cyprus, Malta and Lithuania.
