PFA nominations are out

Too right you are!

Well as Mo Salah won it, my opinion is reflected by all those hundreds of professional footballers who played against the two rather than biased football fans on a football forum. I can live with that.

Does that even make you think for a minute you could be wrong?

Pep: “If Kevin De Bruyne doesn’t win (POTY) then congratulations to who does.

In my opinion there was no player better than him in terms of continuity every three days in all competitions. There are guys better than him numbers wise. But this season he has been the best.”

Talk about missing the point!

So you thought Salah was better than KDB?

We have scored 90 odd goals this season along with the best defence and won 90% of our games , if Salah was playing for us instead of Aguero , would he improve that ? Now if KDB played for the Dippers in place of donkey Henderson , i am quite certain the Dippers would have won a lot more games because they would have been a far better "team". Anway looking forward to seeing Salah in the white shirt of Real next season , every player has a price at Klanfield.

If any of ours had a season like salah we'd feel hard by if they didn't win it. Kev has been immense. It could have gone either way

I think over the full season and at the crucial time when the vote was made yes he was just the better or more influential player as its difficult to compare as they are not like for like.

I think Aguero is one of the very best strikers in the business but in 7 years he has not got near Salahs total, plus the 10 assists he has.

KDB was outstanding til around Jan but since then Silva has outshone him for me so hand on heart I cannot even say he is Citys player of the season (which incidentally I have debated with myself).

If KDB had won it I would not have argued but Salah is also a worthy winner.

Contrary? Loads of blues think Salah was a worthy winner of the award or can respect the reasons why it was not a one horse race.

So far this year we have had:

Young Sports personality of the year - Phil Foden

Golden ball winer - Phil Foden

Young player of the year - Leroy Sane
(3 city players nominated of 6)

Player of the year -KDB (2nd) (3 city players nominated of 6)

Pep is likely to win manager of the year and yet people are still moaning that Sane won it over Sterling, we did not get female player of the year (as if anyone cared prior to us not winning it) and a player with 31 goals in 33 games plus 10 assists has beat KDB. The sad ones are those who cannot be pleased with all the club has achieved and respect the performances of others.

Hmmmm, fact is though Kev should still have won that award. The last 2 months the media has conducted a non-stop Salah wankathon, and I refuse to believe that there weren’t at least some players influenced by that
