St. George's Day

Feel sorry for English people who can’t celebrate St. George’s Day. Celebrate your nation and what it makes you.

I take St. David’s Day off each and every year.

  • People complaining about imaginary people who call today racist
  • Middle class hand wringing about whether it is racist
  • This one time this council said this one thing
  • He was foreign don't you know?
  • PC gone mad
  • Needs a Bank Holiday
  • Colonial/post Empire guilt
  • Take back symbol from the far right
  • "Well really I'm just not bothered by it"
  • "Right, here's how today is actually a perfect representation of my previously held political position"
  • Lager
  • We should organise something. Other people should. Not me.
That about cover everything?

Missed one.

  • If all you RWNJ had voted labour you'd have a bank holiday today.

* he wasn't even born in England!

I shall pop into the pub in a mo and have a few real ales. This is normal behaviour by the way and not something done out of nation fervour. Still, I expect a few of the people in the pub will be there for this very reason. I shall raise a glass to our patron saint alongside them.

It beats dressing up in green and pretending to be oirsh just for the craic like a lot of sad cunts do though.
