Radiator help

Sounds like the valve on the TRV is stuck. Take the plastic control knob off (various types so different ways of doing this). Underneath you will see what looks like a pin 2-3mm diameter. Get a flat bladed screwdriver and with the flat side push the pin in repeatedly until it frees up. Bit of WD-40 on it will help as well. When done rad will be fully on so should warm up quickly. Clean the inside of the control knob up before replacing it.

Gents, I have cracked it. That rad is now blazing hot. Opened up all the others again and all but 1 are getting heat too - bit more fiddling balancing and I think we're ready for winter.

Closed all the other lockshield valves and cranked the heat up to 26 degrees, then just left it to circulate. Once it was hot I slowly started to open all the others again.
