    Arsenal (H) - Sun 31st Mar, 16:30 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Not even sure it’s that much of a quandary tbh. Surely has to be Kovacic imo.

    Real Madrid (a) - Sport Options one-night trip, flight only - £379

Yeah, there's no one size fits all solution for these trips. Always good to have options though. Fully understand those who go for the cheapest possible option, but also see the appeal in convenience/minimal hassle for those with family/work commitments. As many who have been on them will attest...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I know there haven't been many new developments recently, but let's try and keep the thread on topic. Not sure Annabel Tiffin really merits this much discussion! Probably more relevant to the media thread anyway, but as someone else said, comments about her appearance are a bit unnecessary.

    Arsenal (H) - Sun 31st Mar, 16:30 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Think Walker and Stones will be the only absentees. Can see us lining up like this: Ederson Akanji Dias Ake Gvardiol Rodri Kovacic De Bruyne Foden Bernardo Haaland Still a pretty strong team more than capable of beating Arsenal at home, and good options on the bench with Grealish, Alvarez...

Watching Madrid v City in Manchester with kids

Tib St Tavern could be an option: http://www.tibstreettavern.co.uk/ Or Director’s Box: https://www.crafted-social.co.uk/directors-box-manchester Might need to check with them if kids are allowed in in the evenings though!

    Who else is Wembleyed out?

We got one of the club coaches for the final last year. Was fine on the way there, got there in plenty of time. Was a nightmare afterwards though, didn’t leave the car park until about 3 hours after the game. Never again. The lack of trains after the Chelsea game means I’m not sure if I’ll even...

    Who else is Wembleyed out?

Yep, semi-finals being played at Wembley is one of the worst decisions the FA has made.

    FAO any NYC Blues

Going to be in Manhattan next week for the Villa game, and hoping to watch it at Amity Hall. Going to have my 16 year old son with me though - will he be allowed in, or do you have to be 21? Thanks in advance!

Delete One Goal In The History Of Football

They’re the two that immediately sprang to mind for me too. Obviously Sterling’s goal was ruled out, so for the purposes of this thread I’ll say the Llorente handball one that should’ve been ruled out anyway.

Season Tickets - 2024/25 | Average increases of 5% despite record profits

Apologies if much of this has already been covered, but been pretty busy recently and not had chance to read the whole thread. My Mum still has a season ticket, but is in her late 70s and struggles to make quite a few games (evening kick offs, winter games etc). They always get relisted on the...

    2 | Kyle Walker - 2023/24

We do lack depth, but it’s unrealistic not to expect any injuries. We’re actually doing pretty well on that front (touch wood), as I think Walker is our only injury as it stands - I fully expect Ederson, De Bruyne and Grealish to be fit for the Arsenal game.

    2 | Kyle Walker - 2023/24

Hoping it’s nothing serious, but even if he is out for a few weeks it’s perhaps not the absolute disaster that it would’ve been a few seasons ago. More than confident with a back four of Akanji, Stones, Dias and Ake for the Arsenal and Madrid games if need be.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Yep, it’s nonsense to suggest that Etihad are considering this just to help City, or that this is even new information. This move was first mooted three weeks ago. What it certainly does suggest, however, is that there was no impropriety in the sponsorship deal with City, as this would surely...

The British Monarchy | Princess of Wales diagnosed with cancer (p396)

I agree completely that the timescale for when this was announced should have been theirs alone, particularly given the age of their children. Equally, I think putting out that Photoshopped picture, and then getting her to justify it, was clearly a mistake from whoever made that call. It only...

The British Monarchy | Princess of Wales diagnosed with cancer (p396)

The news was already being discussed in this thread well before the other one, so it made more sense to merge rather than have two simultaneous threads discussing the same thing.

The British Monarchy | Princess of Wales diagnosed with cancer (p396)

Sad news, and I hope she makes a full and swift recovery. Some of the hounding in the press and on social media has been pretty unedifying, and hopefully this will put an end to that, but still think this could have been handled better by the Palace/their PR team.
