I agree its not the same situation but there are ways to do it if there wasn't the NATO vs Russia issues. There could easily be a few dozen Reaper drones over Kyiv at any one time, with there speed they wouldn't intercept everything but would provide some decent coverage.

I agree it’s certainly not the way to do things, but for this it may actually make Ukraine’s funding bill easier to pass as it removes the issues of Israel being unpopular due to pretty much genocide. Means those that were apprehensive about voting to fund Isreal but wanted to fund Ukraine...
