    Joao Neves

I feel like this is the only way that Bernardo can leave, a swap deal. Obviously rather he stays, but it kinda makes sense for all parties if he really, really wants to leave.

    FA Cup Semi-Final | City v Chelsea pre-match thread

They have ruined us on transitions this season, we need to have a think for this game. Having a load of players probably tired isn't ideal, but its a semi and we have to go for it: Ortega Walker (if fit) - Stones - Dias/Akanji - Gvardiol (Ake if fit) Rodri - Kova Doku - Foden - Grealish...

    25 | Manuel Akanji - 2023/24

Was getting slagged off in the first half on Twitter, i thought he did a good job all things considering. We are struggling with that control type player, something that Gundo was a master at, and Akanji struggled at times not having someone to bounce it off in the first half.

Real Madrid post match post mortem

Thought we were really poor first half, but we showed spirit and desire second half onwards to fight for it. However this game is just a visual for our season as a whole up to now really, battering teams (Chelsea x2, Liverpool x2, Spurs, Arsenal at home) but missing something in the final 3rd...

    20 | Bernardo Silva - 2023/24

They create rain clouds in UAE, i want to see them create a massive hovering artificial sun over Manchester and build a beach just for Bernie.

    20 | Bernardo Silva - 2023/24

Real Madrid away last season he was terrible, he clearly took that personally and was a one-man wrecking crew in the return leg :D

    Israel-Palestine Conflict

Had a couple of interesting conversations with two Iranians over the last couple days. Yesterday i went for Physio and she's an Iranian who left 25yrs ago. She tells me she hasn't gone back since 2006 because every time she does, she's sent to jail because she was part of protesting when she was...

    Cole Palmer

I think this was the best outcome for all, he wouldn't have had this amount of games and been able to have similar impact for City. He almost has a free role at Chelsea, it suits his style a lot but Pep is much more demanding on individuals unless they're Messi. He should be starting for England...

    Real Madrid (H) - Wed 17th April, 20:00 | CL | Pre-Match Thread

In fairness he played last season as well, i think Rudiger not playing the return leg was a bit of a weird one and he will 100% play this time considering issues they have back there. Last season we over ran them in the middle, they countered that this time by not having a striker. If we can get...

    Real Madrid (H) - Wed 17th April, 20:00 | CL | Pre-Match Thread

Their players specifically called out the atmosphere at Etihad last season as being amazing, we don't get those complements often so to come from such big players tells you something. I hope we can bring the same level and push the guys over the line. Real showed a level of game management at...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Since the title is now in our hands - HAS ANYONE MENTIONED 115 CHARGES AND THE LEAGUE BEING BORING?

    Real Madrid (A) - Tues 9th April, 20:00 | CL | Pre-Match Thread

Bellingham is always a threat, i think he's got a good record against us as well and obviously Vini does too. But i think the RBL game is a good indicator here, over 2 legs RBL had 34 shots on Real's goal - 20 of them at the Bernabeu! The possession was quite similar as well for both legs as...

    The Title Race - 2023/24

Spurs could be the decider in all of this, i believe they have to play all 3 of us. Obviously we have a terrible record against them, even more so at their place! But we can't forget that we need both teams to drop points, Arsenal have toughest run up but they're also the most in-form.

    Branston pickle or Piccalilli?

Always been Branston for me, but the stuff Elliot makes at world famous hot sauce which he's named 'Piccalilli Gardens' is amazing. I have it with almost everything savoury.

    24 | Joško Gvardiol - 2023/24

Yep, this is why he's being picked at LB right now IMO. When Laporte joined, i think he would have been a candidate for LB as well for us due to the same reasons, but we were much lighter in the middle at the time and he did fill in now and again there. But i think Gvardiol is much more suited...

    10 | Jack Grealish - 2023/24

Thought he was superb against Villa, great first touch, driving in and trying things. He's been injured or off form for so long, it was really good to see him firstly getting through a game (!) and secondly playing well.

    9 | Erling Haaland - 2023/24

Yeah balls into the air to him to head on really isn't his play, in fact he loses most of them which is quite confusing considering his height. I think he needs to work on balls into his chest and feet and making sure he doesn't lose them - i do think he's improved in this area but we don't help...

    Aston Villa (H) | PL | Post-match Thread

This is not a mistake, it's ambition. City haven't been great this season when pushed, Villa did it a couple times and we struggled on the break. If Arsenal really wanted to put a marker down they would have tried, they've got a better defence than Villa and are supposedly the best in the league...

    Aston Villa (H) | PL | Post-match Thread

Agree. KDB in the 10 on top of his game is the best in the world, but he's not that right now and Foden and stepped up big time. Personally i'd put Bernardo out right and KDB in the middle, but allow all 3 of them to move as required. Its quite a luxury, and probably would be a huge head fuck...

    Aston Villa (H) | PL | Post-match Thread

Thought we were excellent last night, i know a lot are probably suggesting its because Haaland was out of the team but there were games already this season without Haaland that we didn't play well. The real question is, where does Kevin fit in? Do we swap Bernardo to the right and move KDB more...
