    Operation 'Stay to the end'

Fair enough link. One swallow does not a summer make though. Andy Morrison said last week on blue tuesday that for him it was never an issue because he was concentrating on the game.

Liverpool in Pot 2 in next season's CL, Where do we go?

Liverpool fans have always been self entitled, self pitying, hypocritical cunts Why are a lot of blues only noticing this now ?

    Operation 'Stay to the end'

This thread is all about fans pretending they play a big part in the result of a game. I'm sorry to debunk this popular myth but it's nonsense. The players don't give a fuck. They don't even notice. They're concentrating on the game. Give me a link to one quote where a player has said it affects...

    Lescott take a bow

Has he played enough games to get a medal if we win it ?

    The "money" Jibe ?

I didn't know leveraged buyouts were romantic

    what the everton fans say

It'd be nice if we were leading say 3-0 with 5 mins left to bring on Lescott just to rile the Evertonians

    what the everton fans say

Didn't we beat Leeds 4-0 in the mid 90s which virtually handed it to the rags

    Discuss Pellegrini...(cont)

It's not been handed to us on a plate at all The chances of us beating Everton are slightly better than 50/50 We're on course for between 80-85 points which I said months ago would be a good 1st season for Pellers regardless of finishing position

Or just rags on a wind up The faux outrage on here is hilarious

Short in stature but a giant of a man and one of the most dedicated servants to the cause we've ever had

    Operation 'Stay to the end'

If we beat Everton I'll stay til the end against Villa unless we're winning by 2 or more in which case I'll fuck off early Against West Ham I'll stay to the end assuming we've beaten Everton and Villa. Do I win a prize ?

    souness

Didn't watch the coverage but he's a proper chap Souness and if he seemed a little churlish, big deal, anyone would do the same in his position. What I'm looking forward to is Hansen on MOTD, can't fucking wait to see his face. He's been slagging us off all season; no team spirit, no mental...

Crystal Palace V Manchester City pre match thread

Depends how high / unrealistic your expectations are I guess Assuming a title winning side will lose between 3 and 6 games in that season then it can't be totally unexpected if 2 of those losses are away to your title rivals

Crystal Palace V Manchester City pre match thread

Losing away at a title rival isn't a bad result. We were underdogs in both matches.

    David Silva (continued)

If he plays in the world cup I hope we give him a proper rest before we bring him back next season. Maybe even surgery if that would solve the ankle problem for good. With his game he can play for us til he's 32/33 so losing him for a few months now could pay dividends long term

Crystal Palace V Manchester City pre match thread

I take your point mate and I'm sure we'll be in for a tough game on Sunday but since the Sunderland game which for me was something of a watershed moment we've won 5 out of 6 away against bottom half teams 6 out of 7 if you include the rags :)

Crystal Palace V Manchester City pre match thread

Drawing at Norwich has been our only bad away result in 6 months. That suggests to me that our away form is pretty fucking good, aside from only scoring 3 at the swamp
