    King of the Kippax

I must confess I rely on the internet and MEN for most of my City diet nowadays. However I must agree KOTK has been a great read with much insightful stuff written. Dave and Sue are two of the nicest people you could meet and a fantastic achievement to be going so long.

    King of the Kippax

A friend of mine has it sent to Sweden each month so I guess it can be sent anywhere in the world.

Glad this passing back nonsense has stopped

And did you see the long kick from Kasper that went straight for a throw in to us. He's good but no better than Joe Hart.

Greatest (or most memorable) game you ever saw?

The Kun goal in the 3-2 against QPR will never be forgotten but it was a poor game. The 4-3 at Newcastle in 1968 has got to be the greatest game ever for me.

    Joke thread

Gentlemen, when camping and an attractive girl in the next tent says she's leaving her flaps open due to the hot weather don't assume this is an invitation to casual sex. Wish me luck, I'm in court on Monday.

    Beehive Pub, whitefield

On another point I've been off Bluemoon for about 2 years up until fairly recently cos of all the daft answers and arguments many get into on here. Faith is now fully restored and great to know Blues are still helping Blues on here. Hope Ric can forgive me for my absence.

    Beehive Pub, whitefield

Thanks for the up-date guys on the Beehive which indeed was a great CITY pub and the landlord was a good guy. Can I also thank you know who for the heads up on another pub.

    Beehive Pub, whitefield

Would anybody know if this pub will be showing the Crystal Palace -v- City game this Saturday. Not been there for sometime so I wonder if it still shows City games.

Well done to the London Branch, a magnificent achievement for going for 50 years and it sounds like a good night was had by all.

Yes I know Peter, like many on here and social media he often thinks he knows more than the manager but I can live with that.

Is it time to end One Minutes Applause for supporters who have passed.

It's clear from the consensus on here that the applause is not wanted or considered necessary but the minutes silence at the Christmas period is more appropriate. I completely agree with that consensus. However, I've just read in the MEN that there is an intention to have a minutes applause...

Is it time to end One Minutes Applause for supporters who have passed.

There is a facebook page 'MCFC Memorial, lets not forget past blues' which does exactly what you suggest. It has almost 8,000 members.

Is it time to end One Minutes Applause for supporters who have passed.

I've never been keen on the one minutes applause for supporters who have sadly passed away for whatever reason. However for personal reasons perhaps and because I truly believe he was an exceptional case I thought it would be right for a good friend at Saturday's game against Middlesborough...

    Ghanaian Blue

Hi Ste, I've just returned to Bluemoon recently after about a 2 year absence. The main reason for my absence was I got bored to death of the petty arguments and especially the keyboard comedians who are less funny than farting and completely unoriginal. Perhaps I'm now due another 2 year...

    Tony Griffiths RIP

Quite right Sid C. Paul Lake and Alex Williams didn't turn up just to show their faces. Lakey certainly got to know Tony well during their time together in Sierra Leone and time working together on that project before and after the visit. Alex Williams like many others at the club knew Tony...

    Ghanaian Blue

Hi Ste, you're a man of my own heart. I have a Ghanaian city friend in Tamala which is in the north of the country. We've never met but have maintained frequent contact. Several years ago he set up two junior football teams called MCFC Ghana Babies. Many on here donated items of kit and money to...

    Tony Griffiths RIP

I'm thinking too. None existence response where I was, felt a bit daft clapping by myself despite telling a few others beforehand around me. Don't know what Tony's family felt about it who where there as guests of the club in honour of Tony.
