How long will Ten Hag last at United? / Save Poundland Pep

I have often wondered what must go through the minds of City's England players as they temporarily switch from Pep's coaching methids to Waistcoat's. Despite what they may say in public I reckon privately they wonder what the fcuk is going on.

    Protest?

After a lifetime religiously buying match programmes, this season I decided to stop. No longer worth the money IMHO as its generally full of stuff that I already know, or is of little interest to me. Its now occurred to me that the effect of that has in reality reduced the cost of my FOC season...

That would depend on which team it is and who's on VAR :-)

Season Tickets - 2024/25 | Average increases of 5% despite record profits

Did you not get the letter saying "Thank you so much for giving up your seat to enable us to make a shed load by selling it to a tourist every game " ?

Season Tickets - 2024/25 | Average increases of 5% despite record profits

Similar for me in EL3. FOC seat increased by 3%, as has my son's Adult seat. 2 of my mates in SS3 have increased by 10%, on top of a 10% increase last season !

Too many faint hearted on here. Always knew he had it in him, even though he's clueless. This guy is better than Houdini. The campaign is working Fellow Blues. Keep the faith !

    Liverpool Thread - 2023/24

Never before in my rather long life as a Blue have I cheered a rag winning goal against any team. I fecking well did today though ! Completely sick and tired of all the hype that those despicable scouse t**ts get in the media. Quadruple - sorry False Quadruple - my arse.

    Atmosphere - 2023/24

For how long now have they been singing that stupid 'empty seats' chant ? Must be 12 to 15 years IIRC. That's a club with an empty trophy cabinet. It really makes them sound small time and by now you would think they could come up with something more original and relevant. Personally I don't...

    Old Manchester cinemas

When I was a kid growing up in Failsworth we had 'The Pop' on Oldham Road near the Pole. Official name was The Popular Palace but nobody I knew called it that. Saturday afternoon matinées watching Batman, Zorro, Three Stooges etc. Happy days. Later closed down and reopened as Sinatra's nightclub...

Does anyone else feel like this?

Agreed. My post wasn't specifically aimed at the younger generation, just an example and observation on society nowadays.

Does anyone else feel like this?

That's correct about behaviour nowadays IMHO. As an example, Mrs Bill & her sister were on a train from Carlisle to Newcastle a few months ago and were seriously intimidated by a gang of teenage lads. Real low life - running and jumping around the carriage barking like dogs, no doubt coked up to...

Does anyone else feel like this?

Bloody hell. I'm amazed they hung on to them when Pearce was manager. Or maybe they couldn't find any buyers :-)

I wouldn't disagree with that. As it happens I said before the game I thought Kova alongside Rodri would have been my choice. Pep clearly felt that Alvarez would be a better option but, as you say he turned out to be the weak link.

I disagree with some of that. They were there to be got at today, hence Alvarez starting. It didnt work out so Pep changed it with Kovacic and Doku. Kev was leaving Rodri exposed and Kova coming on tightened us up. These things happen, but it's unfair to blame Pep for the way the team went into...

Does anyone else feel like this?

What sort of person wears rag gear at Anfield in the City end ? Sums up the way the game has gone. The number of half & half scarves in EL3 for the derby last Sunday was embarrassing.

Spurs, FOC season tickets & other ticket conditions

He's already all over it IMHO. Based on our averaged out seasoncard match price my son's adult ticket for the Toon Cup Tie has reduced by a tenner whereas my FOC seat has increased by a tenner (we sit together). Glaringly obvious what's going on -- drive out the FOC's and replace us with big...

    Richard Dunne

I can imagine him saying "Right kids, when running across your own penalty area point your feet outwards.....not inwards like I used to do " :-) Good to hear that Dunninho is back. Legend.

On this day - Keegan Resigns

Pretty much how I felt about KK. I recall landing at Manchester Airport waiting for luggage when I first learned we'd appointed him. My thoughts were that he was tactically clueless, however my opinion soon changed as we steamrollered the league and then did OK in our first season back in the...
