City announce trial bus scheme for home games

Macc bus was a godsend. Got on it at 23.15, exact time the last train back to Macc left Piccadilly. No way could we have stayed for pens and made that

Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Thread

Do any arena ITKs know how many of the bars and restaurants will be ready to open next week? There for Peter Kay on the opening night and will get there early if any of the bars are open

13 Years Ago Today City 1 Rags 0 FA Cup Semi Final Wembley

Flew back from China for this, very disgruntled when they wouldn’t let me in the Green Man cos it was “full”. Managed to blag my way in on the coat tails of a coach driver, bag of nerves all game, never felt so content sat in the hotel bar later watching it on MoTD

    FA Cup Semi-Final | City v Chelsea | Sat 20 Apr 5:15pm SOLD OUT

I ordered 3 and other 2 went to original owners, not me?

City announce trial bus scheme for home games

Agree. I would not use it if it sat around for 45minutes, but this is always going to be the problem as different people have different criteria. We leave at final whistle, stroll back to Connell college and typically wait 5-10mins before it sets off. But we’re ESL1, probs the shortest walk.

We only do returns (if the trains are running into MCR) so I’m not sure the clicker can tell them much. Definitely a more relaxed option for getting back to Macc than rushed overcrowded tram and train

    Atmosphere - 2023/24

Dunno mate, the people I know who sit near us were mainly there but a huge number of “first timers” milling about excitedly, looking for the right aisle and seeming confused that they couldn’t take beer to their seats…

    Atmosphere - 2023/24

There were more tourists and half&halfers around 102 yesterday than I’ve ever seen for a league match, nearly at Champions League levels

City announce trial bus scheme for home games

Yes you can just buy a single. So far the bus has never been more than half full so no problem getting on. Might be a bit busier tomorrow with the parking ban kicking in and trains a bit dodgy but can’t see it being full

Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Thread

Anyone seen a list of what bars and restaurants will actually be in the new arena? As it’s supposedly opening in less than a month surely they should be confirmed by now?

    Seat counters 2023/24

Not deliberately, I used to live in SH and joined BM after a very long day on the beer, only noticed afterwards I’d spelt it wrong and seemed a lot of hassle to change it!

    Seat counters 2023/24

Seems a change to online? I logged in at 13.45 as I qualified first window to be ready for 14.00 when all the family qualify, now it’s kicked me out and put me in a Q even though I’m on 21K+! Bit annoying

City announce trial bus scheme for home games

Said late buses completely unacceptable and had been raised with provider (it’s outsourced) as breaching contract terms. Tbf bus against Newcastle was there early and left bang on time. Also said they were in discussions with the club about introducing family friendly fares, which I interpreted...

matchdaybus@tfgm.com I was told it was this. Gave some feed back but didn’t get an acknowledgement or reply

Trains from Macc seem flakey again on Sunday too, no London trains and most services forecast to be “extremely busy” ie you can’t get on!

I agree it has great potential and would be very happy to provide feedback but so far cannot find any info on how to do that! Is there an email or social link we can message?
