    Players who might improve us

Quinten Timber, 7 goals 8 assists from DM, good all rounder, can play multiple positions, only 22. His brother at Arsenal was very highly rated before the injury, can play across the back line. Would be a versatile option for not much money, give Rodri a break but not demand to start every game.

    Bruno Guimaraes

Got to agree here, especially around Nunes. He was hardly a standout for Wolves or Sporting, not a big goal scorer or creator, not brilliant defensively, just a decent midfielder in an ok team. Got to remember that even the likes of Luton get about 100mil a year and their best player could be...

    Jeremie Frimpong

We have so much possession he’ll essentially be playing as a winger anyway. Between RB, wingback and RW he should get quite a few games. Plus, with his raw pace, he’ll really help us against quick breaks. For £35mil it’s a steal.

Summerville looks a handful. If Leeds somehow bottle promotion, should take a serious look.

    Jamal Musiala

Musiala’s obviously a talent but Wirtz is the superstar. Been in the first team since he was 16, does his ACL, takes 10 months off, comes back even stronger. He’s also not been in a CL team yet, but nothing to suggest he wouldn’t be just as good.

    Michael Olise

Chelsea got told to F off for tapping up, but we could have easily just activated his release clause before he signed a new contract; he was clearly angling for a move that didn’t materialise and that’s why he signed a new contract.

    Michael Olise

Constantly injured and we could have got him for £30 mil last summer. Savio coming in means either he or Doku will get more games on the right.

    The Title Race - 2023/24

The pessimist in me says they threw those games against Atalanta to concentrate on the league, but they do look like they’re running out of steam a bit. Nothing’s changed though, win all our games and we’ve still had an unbelievable season.

    9 | Erling Haaland - 2023/24

Imagine we called out Aguero like this in his 2nd season when we won nothing and he scored 12 in the league… We’re favourites for the PL & FA Cup, which if we won, would be our 4th trophies this year.

    9 | Erling Haaland - 2023/24

Do you know who’s missed the most big chances in PL since 2010/11. Aguero. And for me, he’s my favourite player and the best striker in PL history, so I’m being as unbiased as possible. You know who had a bad 2nd season? Aguero.

    9 | Erling Haaland - 2023/24

Yeah, he’s only scored against Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, United, Spurs, Villa, Munich. 5 goals 5 assists in derbies. He should have had 3 against Madrid but Courtois pulled off several world class saves. Scored 5 past Leipzig.

Positives For The Remainder Of The Season

As much as it sucks, this could have been the different between winning and losing the Prem this season. The squad is knackered, injuries have hindered our rhythm and we’ve had to try and replace some big players. Four in a row and maybe an FA Cup against the rags would still be an unbelievable...

    9 | Erling Haaland - 2023/24

He’s in bad form but he’s still the best striker in the world. Let’s not forget the injuries and current fatigue in the squad. Hopefully we’ll have a strong finish to the season and address the issues in summer. Yes he’s been fluffing easy chances when it’s been frustrating, but he’s not been...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Apologies because it’s almost definitely been answered before but I can’t find it; what were we actually found guilty on in the CAS verdict in respect to the 2-1 vote? Was this for an aspect of the charges or the whole charge itself?

    Florian Wirtz

If Pep leaves at the end of next season (as much as I’d hate that), throw the kitchen sink at them.

    Florian Wirtz

This is the guy we need. If he’s got a release clause, pay it. If he wants another year in Germany, give it him. Him and Phil feeding Haaland for the next 10 years is the dream.

    11 | Jeremy Doku - 2023/24

Bit of coaching and we’ve got a serious player on our hands.

Are Leverkusen the best smaller budget team in the past 15 years?

Obviously don’t want Pep to go anywhere, but Alonso would by my number 1 pick for his successor. Nice football, strong defensively, not overly reliant on a single player, a good mixture of possession & countering. Plus it’d wind the scousers up something rotten.

    Players who might improve us

If Leeds don’t come up, I really like the look of Summerville. Quick, direct, puts a good shift in defensively. He & Dewsbury-Hall been the standout players of the championship. Doku, Savio, Summerville would be a great set of ‘traditional’ wingers with Grealish & Bernie being more inside...

    The Title Race - 2023/24

If the Rags do us a favour (not banking on that shower of shit), I think we’ll do it. As long as we can beat Spurs away.
