Sorry you can't pin anything on Klopp - he's whiter than white, and has a real ring of confidence about him.

WHEN I feel like it. Good old Hal and Herbie are long gone but their two UK hits will be a good Forget Me Not.

Good God, are there people on here who don't? I still play this stuff every Saturday night - along with the Kalin Twins, Connie Francis , Ricky Nelson, Buddy Holly and the incomparable Everly Bros!

I'm glad it was referred to UEFA's ethics committee. They're the only body who can investigate because UEFA and the IC are completely independent of each other and all the members of the IC are free from any taint of any conflict of interest. We're guaranteed a speedy and objective report.

I'm sure we won't have to wait long for the result of the ethics committee investigation. Liverpool especially would never stoop so low as to refuse cooperation.

I think at the moment that the problem poses itself in rather different terms for Ceferin. He doesn't want to see, and I suspect no-one wants to see, a breakaway because it could damage football as we know it greatly. The question is whether a breakaway could take enough teams with it to make...

Ever since Sheikh Mansour bought our club UEFA have been hostile. This may well be because Platini was well and truly panicked by the reaction of the G 14 to his initial FFP proposals - the threat of legal action because debt is an accepted way of raising capital for investment and the threat...

Yes, this is the scandal of City getting the benefit of the doubt just because UEFA didn't have any evidence of wrong doing. A technicality pure and simple.

Very thorough and well balanced analysis, PB and we're all in your debt yet again. I think you draw several conclusions which need to be stressed because there are some real howlers doing the rounds, pushed by the usual suspects:- since the relaxation of FFP 1. This is not the death of FFP...

Nice one, Marvin. What we're getting now from the media (there are, of course, a few honourable exceptions) is a monotonous trotting out of a well worn stab-in-the-back "theory" - the media got it right, but UEFA fouled up in front of an unfit-for-purpose CAS.

I've been away for the last seven days and only been able to keep up with City news through Bluemoon on an iPad which is rather out of date. I was delighted to find, on Tuesday, that the judgement had been published at long last and that it did no more or less than echo what so many on here...
