City charged by FA for failing to control players against Spurs

This was definitely a red card offence.....Hooper should have shown himself one for blatantly preventing a clear goal scoring opportunity

    Chelsea (A) - Sun 12th Nov, 16:30 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

We all know the sayings about statistics. If City use the above as an indicator of the Chelsea we will face today, it will be a mistake. If we look at Chelsea in terms of when they turned the corner, they probably already have. I think well win, but Chelsea will show improvements. It is...

    Chelsea (H) - Sun 21st May, 16:00 | Pre-Match Thread

What a run this could be when we beat: Chelsea - CL winners 2012 and 2021 Beat Utd in the FA Cup - CL 2008 Then Inter in the final - CL winner 2010 On the run in, battered : Bayern - CL 3 times since 2008 Real - CL 5 times since 2008 What a team Pep has put together!

    Chelsea (H) - Sun 21st May, 16:00 | Pre-Match Thread

But he really could have had a hatrick! The scramble and the incredible save from headers, that right foot thunderbolt, then the one that bounced up off Courtois onto the bar. And they were the clear cut chances!

    Real Madrid (H) - Wed 17th May, 20:00 | Pre-Match Thread

No. We'll do ok. Haaland, Kev, Mahrez, Gundo and Phil. Then Alvarez at #6. I can see us taking it if it goes to penalties

    KDB or David Silva?

As much as we all love David Silva, KDB is on his own in winning games for City. Silva was beautiful to watch, but rarely won us games on his own. KDB takes matches and especially the big matches, by the scruff of the neck. Only Yaya could compare since King Colin

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

These 3 at various times have been our best players in their positions. Can't wait!?!?!?!? I Would be sad to see them leave, but have to agree: 1) Gundog is closing in on being past his immaculate best 2) Bernardo clearly misses the Iberian Peninsula.... can't really blame him can you? 3)...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Here's my naive little blue tinted view of things..... A few questions. Unless the answer is No to the majority, it is a witch hunt and we should have nothing to answer to: - Have City added to the success and marketability of the Premier League? I.E. have we helped create value for the...

Now you're talking. Stones from glass houses......

    It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

At least someone is talking sense on here. We haven't had a left back the whole time we won the last 4 Premier League Titles....and Cancelo isn't a full back anyway. Definitely no need to panic. I wouldn't write off Sergio Gomez yet either

    Jude Bellingham

You could say that about almost any player. Who's been sensational? No "superstars". Messi might be the best of that lot. Amrabat is the only one that immediately springs to mind for me; and how did he go in the Premiership?

Your ideal central-midfield signing for next summer ?

Don't be surprised if Sergio Gomez starts getting spells in midfield as well as left back. I see a bit of Foden and Bernardo in him. He just needs to play and get comfortable in the Premier League and he'll be a very good player for us.

How many times you been Anfield and not seen us win?

Only went once but remember '76 - '77 when we 'scored for fun' followed by the goal drought where it felt like we didn't score for a decade! My lasting memory was standing about 5 yards behind a power cross (from yes. Paul Power). Nice striker of the ball was Paul.

    Jude Bellingham

Unless Cancelo leaves or Walker becomes a sick note, no fullback needed. Gomez will be our regular first choice left back/midfielder before this year is out and there is plenty of cover now

    United (H) - Sun 2nd Oct, 14:00 | Pre-Match Thread

I have a feeling Pep could start Rodri and Phillips together in this one.....if they are fit. Only way United win is we lose the ball in midfield and Rashford manages to hit the cow's arse with his banjo.

When / why did you become a City fan?

The Day I was born.......It's in the DNA. First game was in '67, a 2-1 loss to the rags at Maine Road. But there was never a chance of supporting anyone else. I have 4 brothers. All Blues. Their kids.....all Blues. It's in the DNA.

"It’s the hope that’s been killing them for years"

93:20. It's been analysed, scrutinized, dissected, inspected, assessed and processed. The one big question that remains, that no-one has ever answered (even Hawkeye), that may become the football mystery of the 21st Century, that may never be answered, that has not even been noticed by the...
