Utd PL (A) | Man of the Match

Jack and Bernardo both superb, but Bernardo was on a different level today. The whole team performance was excellent, particularly second half. That could have been and perhaps should have been another "sick swan". Brilliant, great day to be a Blue.

    Paul Hince

RIP Blue. Not easy to report on City when he did. Always seemed fair and balanced - and that's all we ask for.

Real Madrid CL S/F 2nd Leg (H) | Man of the Match

Grealish, Walker and Bernardo outstanding. Rodri dependable as ever. All the back "four" were excellent. But my man of the match went to Bernardo, who was out of this world, Grealish would have been next of the list.

The least difficult choice of the season possibly! Give Gundo two more years please City.

Bayern Munich CL Q/F 2nd leg (A) | Man of the Match

Went for Dias but could equally have chosen Bernardo, Grealish or Ederson. Great performance from all of them. Dias block around 75 minutes, doing the splits and still managing to block the cross - wow.

Chelsea Carabao Cup Rd 3 (H) | Man of the Match

Ortega, comfortably for me. However, as others have said, that was easily Jack Grealish's best game for us. But for a shot-stopping masterclass, Jack would have won MotM for me.

Fulham PL (H) | Man of the Match

Bernardo for me. Like the Duracell bunny this afternoon - never stopped. I'm not sure that the was blade of grass he didn't cover today, he was completely relentless. KDB a close second after that, particularly late on in the game. Great performance by the team, particularly after going down to 10.

Nottingham Forest PL (H) | Man of the match

Went for Alvarez. Worked non-stop from the get-go tonight. Deserved his two goals and the second was fabulously taken. Really unlucky not to get a hattrick with the shot against the post. It would have been easy to choose Haaland for his perfect hattrick, but just sheer persistence and outright...

Was supposed to have been Scott but was replaced late on by Darren England. Presume Scott was injured or unwell.

Bournemouth PL (H) |Man of the Match

Ilkay, Ake and Rodri all excellent today, but the MotM for this one was a pretty straightforward choice. Had to be Kevin.

Newcastle Utd PL (H) |Man of the Match

De Bruyne for me, but Zin, Grealish, Sterling and Gundo all excellent. Thought Cancelo looked a bit more like the form he was showing earlier in the season too. All around, a great team performance and a what a bounce back from midweek's disappointment.

Liverpool (H) | Post match thread

Hugely frustrating that. Thought we battered them first half but for a proper finisher, we're 3, 4 or 5 up at half time. Two points lost, but still in our hands.

United PL (H) | Man of the Match

Gave it to Grealish. Comfortably his best game for us. Looked excellent in the second half in particular when he played more time in the 8 or 10 position rather than tight to the touchline like he did in the first. Kev looked close to his best for much of the game. Two goals and an assist would...

Chelsea PL (H) | Man of the Match

Went for Bernardo, but could happily have given it to Raz, Laporte, Stones or Rodri who were all excellent. Really important save from Ederson too, which shouldn't be forgotten about.

    Chelsea (H) - Post-Match Thread

Although we dominated the game, it felt really tense in the stands today. A really tough game. God I'd hate to watch Chelsea week in, week out if that's the limit of their ambition - especially given the players that they have. I found their tactics bizarre - they needed to win that today. The...

Arsenal PL (A) | Man of the Match

I thought this one was an easy choice. Rodders was comfortably our best player on the day. Honourable mention for Ake with a (probably) match saving goal line clearance. Shades of Stones versus the Dippers.

West Ham PL (H) | Man of the Match

Rodri for me, but Cancelo had yet another excellent game. The players looked tired to me today. Perhaps the exertions of Wednesday night combined with the weather. I suppose 3 games in a week will catch up even with professional players. West Ham were a really tough opponent but I'd expected that.

Paris Saint-Germain CL (H) | Man of the Match

I need the option to give the award to Rodri, Bernardo and Gundo. Not a lot to choose between any of them. Walker and Mahrez not far behind either. Brilliant performances right across the team. If I'm forced to choose then Bernardo; absolutely tireless and relentless.

Everton PL (H) | Man of the Match

Rodri, all day, every day. Bernardo, Cancelo and Gundo all excellent too. Thought Palmer had a good first start in the Prem and McAtee looking like a clone of David Silva in his brief cameo. Excellent afternoon all round, really enjoyed that one.

Manchester United PL (A) | Man of the Match

Could have gone to Rodri, Bernardo or Cancelo. Went with Rodders in the end. Thought the team played well throughout with Kev looking my like his old self at last - though still not at his absolute best. Great to see the Stones/Dias partnership back in place too as well as Aymeric's played...
