When Jadon Sancho was allowed to leave, I understood it because we had Sterling and Sane who hadn’t even reached their peak yet. To turn around and potentially lose Sane would be horrible. I get how it makes sense, but would still hate to lose him.

Sorry, I in no way meant to infer that it was exclusively about Sancho but rather, like many have already said, we brought in a bunch of young players and don't expect to have that same need going forward. Thus Sancho, Foden, Diaz and all the rest will get their chance to try to earn a spot...

So when Pep says "In the next few years City will buy one, two or maybe three players. The current players are young and will stay for the future", it sounds to me like he may be talking to Sancho. Effectively saying the rate of incomings won't be this high forever so be smart and stay around...

Watched him play live on the tour of the US, against Spurs in Nashville and while I wouldn't want him to be starting in a big game, I'd have no issue with him as a backup.

That would be one of the benefits of being here in the US. Tons of games on TV many of which are early enough to still have plenty of day left when you're done.

I watched the NBC documentary last night and it was very gripping. I wouldn't start watching soccer/football until 2013 thanks to my daughter playing, but being able to re-live probably the greatest moment in club history was amazing! Only thing better would have been to see it in real time.
