    Medicinal poetry

Responded like a monkey that had been given a mirror. I expected that, and the indifference (or defence, you might say) and the rarer thoughtful engagement like that from yourself.

Eh up. What happened to free speech. The kind of guy she was talking about exposed himself and I pointed that out, and both posts have gone. It would be a richer forum if these things were not edited out by moderators.

Yes mate, I thought there was irony in the silence too.

Zero replies. Maybe it was posted too early in the day. I wonder weather a post teatime bump is worth it.

7 minutes and no reply. Maybe there's some reflection going on.

    That was a joke right?

Go in and sort the natives out 'eh? Show them how a country should be run and divided up?

    the bombing debate

Nobody is advocating inaction. Just not the stupidity of bombing based on lies about what it will achieve, what the situation in Syria actually is (70,000 moderates to support that have benign coherent aims like us, haha) and what our aims are. And this isn't about protecting us from terrorism...

    Attacks in Paris

"Call of fucking Duty style". If it's not hysteria or showing how big your bollocks are it's bloody playtime on here sometimes.

    Attacks in Paris

It's a terrible situation Pam. Really sad and scary that it could happen here. I was commenting on some of the suggestions that have been made on here that won't do any good at all and will cost British lives as well as add to suffering elsewhere. I don't have a solution in my back pocket...

    Attacks in Paris

My, what big balls you have. It's not an attitude that's going to solve anything though, neither will Blue Haze's earlier suggestions. It really is going to take brains not just brawn and knee-jerk reaction. We've tried that.

It's not about liberalism, it's about not being hysterical or short of intellect.

You're screwed mate. You will continue in this narcissistic way despite the reality checks people have offered you. You will only get very short term cognitive behaviour therapy in your private care, and it's clear that you will not benefit. You are defended against aspects of reality you can't...

Well done that man. And yet it still went straight through his head without coming into contact with anything!

Could have been an interesting thread this but you've derailed it with your neediness. I took you seriously at first, thinking you were simply naive.

I know mate, I was making reference to your post to Lloydie as well as Gelson's smart Alec comment aimed at exposing Lloydie in some way, but serving only to expose his own difficulty imagining the situations of others worse off. I wondered if he cried based on the capacity to imagine and even...

I had to check whether it started with a 'W' ! Well done for resisting a response to Gelson. Wonder if he cried in 2012!
