I don't think that's a massive reach when you think Paqueta cost, Portugal international, CL experience, length of contract, City tax etc. Just my opinion of course. Anything north of that is overspending in todays market.
I'm unsure on Leipzig's wage structure and Laporte's willingness to go. It seems Leipzig are also perhaps more interested in a younger signing with a potential sell on in the future. Getting Laporte would have no return on investment for them
Hmmm…we played a blinder with the whole Rice situation. They’re the ones that got pushed around IMO desperate to catch us up they massively overpaid. RB hold the cards, selling the Hungarian chap gave them more freedom to not have to accept lesser terms for Gvardiol. Trust the process believe me...
Agree to disagree I’d feel the exact same way if it was one of our players. Thankfully none of ours are this entitled and we’re not that poorly run - that I can agree with you on with PSG. Appreciate the debate either way
But why should a club stay loyal to a player if they’re unwilling to commit to the club? I don’t think psg have done any wrong either. It’s their right to try and cash in on a player unwilling to commit beyond the year left on the deal.
