    Injury Updates

I honestly want us to get knocked out of the cups this season. Clearly the players' fitness levels can't cope this season for whatever reason and I'd much rather have the players rested for PL/CL games. If we didn't consistently have so many injuries then sure I'd have liked us to compete in...

Glad we topped. Sane, what a talent. Really hope he becomes increasingly consistent soon. Time's on his side though.

    Injury Updates

I just recalled that our head physio Lee Nobe's left City in the second week of November 2018 to join Liverpool. I wonder if that could be one crucial reason why we've been downhill with other players' fitness since him leaving.

Largely agree with this i guess.

    Frenkie de Jong(Signed for Barcelona)

Recalled an old adage. Went something like "Never make someone a priority for whom you're merely an option." I wouldn't mind getting Aouar, who has been vocal about wanting to play for Pep and City. I do however acknowledge FDJ is an unusually excellent player for his age.

Please, no more injury prone players. Please.

    Injury Updates

I'd be shocked tbh. Pep seems to have a preference for seniority. Delph/Zinch/Gundo will most likely cover Dinho.

    Injury Updates

Not sure what fantasy land you're reveling in, but I'm genuinely curious as to why we're exceptional with regards to injury records and was hoping someone can explain this apparent anomaly. That's beside the point though. You didn't answer my main query: is it possible we never engage? Will be...

    Injury Updates

Do you think it's possible we never engage on each other's posts ever again? You've no idea how much I'd appreciate that, love.

    Injury Updates

Is there another top PL club, or for that matter a top European club, which consistently loses its top players season after season for significant enough durations as we have been? I'd think nearly a decade of experimenting and observing a generally pathetic injury record would've nudged our...

    Chelsea (A) Post Match Thread

The only change he made was not making the team attack more than we usually did, in effect trading our forward play for defensive solidity, which pretty much made it look like we're content to just pass around and get a 0-0. Sarri altered it in a way they won 2-0.

    Chelsea (A) Post Match Thread

I think Sarri deserves a LOT of credit for yesterday. He's very passionate about his method of football much like Pep is. BUT Sarri remembers his track record vs Pep, and he altered his method of play, deploying a lower block (surprising Pep as he conceded himself) instead of playing his more...

    Chelsea (A) Post Match Thread

Frankly I was disgusted by our long-ball approach yesterday. I tore my hair watching crosses being played time and time again to short players like Raheem etc. when Chelsea practically won EVERY header.

    Chelsea (A) Post Match Thread

I think the only telling thing in his post-match press conference was him conceding that he didn't expect Chelsea to play a low block, and instead played Raheem as a false 9 because he wanted to exploit the expected high defensive line of Chelsea and create 1v1s with Luiz. In other words, Sarri...

    Frenkie de Jong(Signed for Barcelona)

PSG will NOT meet Ajax's €75m asking price for Frenkie de Jong and believe reports of a deal were to create an auction between the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and Barcelona. [Le Parisien] Plot thickens

    Frenkie de Jong(Signed for Barcelona)

@tolmie's hairdoo I appreciate your concerns over the veracity of the report, given the claims about FFP regarding City. But, given the recent posturing by the club in terms of wages and transfer fees, could you really see us pay 75m for a 21 year old CDM, when we were haggling over 15m for an...

I'm kind of getting tired of being outdone in transfers.

This is going to be a huge huge miss. Cue blues justifying how it's no worry and ndombele was much better anyway. Sigh :(

    Watford (A) Post Match Thread

We conceded 7 shots on target today. Against the other top 6 rivals till now we've conceded a total of 9. Of course, Laporte had played in all those top 6 games. Also, I think it's a funny fact but we haven't kept a single clean sheet with Otamendi on the pitch in the PL, whether as a starter...
