£15m for Boateng?

Also now being reported by goal.com that Bayern want Adebayor too.

Swap with Ribery, Robben or Muller on the cards?

Meanwhile, Boateng isn't the only City player who has caught the attention of Bayern, as they also closely monitor the situation of Emmanuel Adebayor.

FCB reportedly see the 27-year-old as a suitable replacement for Miroslav Klose, who is expected to leave the club this summer, and they're keen to open talks with the English club.

Adebayor is currently on loan at Real Madrid, but the Spanish side are unlikely to use their option to buy the striker for €13 million, and he is widely expected to be offloaded on a permanent deal this summer.

It's funny how often people mention swap deals, when realistically it's very rare they actually happen.

Why would BM or any German club be willing to spend so much on a young, German player I wonder?

Germans, Spanish, Italians aren't immune from UEFA's squad rules you know.

For the same reason we WILL shell out more for say Cahill or Baines than Real Madrid or Bayern Munich would.

Well, that and the fact that Boateng has much more potential than Cahill

How depressing that we're going to blow a load of money on a second rate player simply because he's English

I will suicide if we sign Cahill. We signed Lescott for 22 Million when Lucio was sold for 8 Million ONLY ! Hopefully we will not repeat the mistake again.

Cant see how we need this guy for home grown rules, check out the other thread. We would be much better spending lots of cash on Rodwell. (wasnt Cahill on the bench a lot at Villa, just dont get the Cahill thing at all!)

Rodwell would be good but he is a defensive midfielder and we dont need if we him if we keep Milner, De Jong and Barry.
