Barmy, a couple of seasons ago we got Mancini, Silva and Milner for free.. now it's £200, Soriano might turn up, but there's food!

We can't fill the ground as ticket prices spiral upwards, so we're building more seats and putting on what feels like elitist nights like this...

Give yourself a January treat and book your seat now for an “An Evening with…” Manuel Pellegrini.

On Tuesday 27 January 2015, the manager will be taking part in an intimate Q&A in the Mancunian, hosted by James Cooper from Sky Sports.

Hear exclusively from the man who led City to a second Premier League title and lifted the Capital One Cup in his first season at the club and get first hand insight in to what drives him on to success.

Then, top off an unmissable evening with a luxury three course meal in the Chairman’s Club.

It’s the perfect way to extend that festive feeling and begin the New Year with an unforgettable City experience. Book now to avoid disappointment!

Tickets cost £200 + VAT and include a glass of Champagne on arrival, private Q&A with The Manager and a luxury three course meal in the Chairman’s Club.

Arrival from 7pm
Carriages from 11pm

Format:

• Welcome drinks, in the Mancunian suite

• VIP reception in the Chairman’s Club

• A hosted and informal conversation with Manuel Pellegrini, on stage, in the Mancunian suite

• The discussion is followed by an exclusive meal downstairs in The Chairman’s Club

Event speakers:

• Welcome from Ferran Soriano (or member of his direct executive team)

• Guest speaker: Manuel Pellegrini

• Host: James Cooper (Sky TV)

If folk have that kind of money to waste, then good luck to them.

This kind of corporate (elitist) event is exactly what the club should be making revenue from, hopefully it will help keep it cheaper for the rest of us.

I'd rather have the option to go and ask questions/listen to others... our major revenue should come primarily from corporate sponsorships, not needlessly raiding fans pockets.

You are totally contradicting yourself. You can't moan about rising ticket prices and in the same breath moan about events like this which are designed to squeeze revenue from wealthy fans and corporate customers.

You have no 'right' to attend an event like this. It's a take it or leave it. The club are doing a totally free event tomorrow which is a nice gesture.

There is drinks and a meal thrown in. I'm sure that wasn't free in the past.
