Seems that lots of the rich and famous said goodbye this year, but we lost a cracking potential forward line in particular with Franny Lee, Sir Bobby, Vialli and Trevor Francis. Very few of the class of 66 left now - but Geoff Hurst looked as fit as a butchers dog when on the box this year.
Lost a great manager in Terry Venables too the other week.
I know footballers die routinely but these were giants in their time, and Franny one of our very, very best - I was at his City debut and lucky to see many of his great goals and games.
RIP to them all.
