I think I get it.

32 points by Easter means their is a pretty decent chance you can avoid relegation.

I always used the measure of 25 points by new year. four wins from 16/17 games isn't too hard. I got excited last xmas because the Mickeys only had 24 !

Before HRH took over this great club, we only just avoided relegation on many occasions, and it was often Easter before we attained 32 points.
