3rd Rd FA Cup - City v Burnley 1500hrs 6/1/18

At last. The filth armchair element are ignored. About time broadcasters saw the light and put matches on the box that justified being shown. Not sure how we are both expected to play on Saturday afternoon but that’s what the FA website claims we’ll be doing.

No chance we will both be at home at the same time. I suspect Burnley will bring 6k and Derby will bring a good following - they won't want 100k+ fans in the centre at the same time. Hopefully we will be Saturday and they will be moved to Sunday

Depends on what happens in the league cup next week. First leg of the semi finals is the week after the FA Cup games.

Why did he play the reserves last night and against West Brom and Wolves, then?

Some games and competitions are higher priority than others. Whilst City of course want to win the game, going out will actually help our bid for the biggest two trophies.
Ederson a reserve? really ? Aguero a reserve, really? Sane a reserve, really? Jesus a reserve, really? Gundogan/ Bernardo? Reserves? He played a very strong team last night. And a very strong team against West Brom and Wolves. This bloke's a winner. If anyone wants us to actually drop out of any of the major trophies, then they're welcome to stay at home for every game. We don't want or need them. We need fans that are full-on, 100% behind the team winning in every game.

30% of our fans don't stay for the full game never mind 100% behind them.

The FA Cup is fixture wise easier to play strong teams than the other cup due so I think he will take the risk against Leicester but play a strong side in this. That semi final loss probably still grates as we should have won that last year.
