This time from Stephen Tudor (Lucky Toma), another great read:

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/Blog/index.php/2012/01/06/a-blue-betrayal-and-derby-day/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/Blog/ind ... derby-day/</a>

Good read and passionate.

The paragraph 'Though I was too young at the time to appreciate the analogy going to the Theatre of Shite back then felt like attending an American sports event. It was all about the hot dogs. The razzle-dazzle. Once, in the family stand, I was given a balloon. A f***ing balloon at a game?' does sound a bit like what happens in our family stand now.

Got to say that was absolutely brilliant.<br /><br />-- Fri Jan 06, 2012 5:15 pm --<br /><br />Got to say that was absolutely brilliant.

Nice read, Lucky. It shows how our great game is actually more than that, how it weaves its way into our lives and defines the people we are.

really enjoyed that.

football is more than just a game.
