I was once in the process of boiling two eggs. I had one in each hand and edged the pot of boiling water to a more central position over the gas. It tipped a bit and was ready to fall.

I threw both the eggs up in the air, stopped the pot from falling and caught the eggs on their way back down.

I was actually gutted no one was there to witness it.

It should have ended in a scalding and setting my sleeve on fire.

Not that day. I was like an egg boiling, pot tipping saviour Ninja.
