Advert bug?

Clearing your browsing history does not stop you accessing any App store unless you mean it removed your sign in credentials for a site and you can't remember the password.

What is it that you're using?

Allow me to clarify. Beginning on Saturday, my iPhone would re-direct automatically to a new window in an App store asking me if I wanted to download an App. I kept declining but each time I tried to visit the forums on that device it would do the same thing. I cleared my browsing history and it fixed the issue - working fine now.

Strange thing is I had no issues with my iPad or my MacBook.

Ahh, is the iPhone on iOS9 by any chance? What about the iPad? The Mac, obviously, is a different OS.

Yes, the iPhone and iPad are on iOS9. The phone was even updated again on Sunday I believe to 9.0.2 but that still did not fix the issue we are discussing.

Only clearing the history fixed it.

Well, it's back. At least on my phone.

Someone really wants me to have the Words with Friends app.

And clearing history does nothing.

Not really the same issue as other posters, but twice in the last few days I've gotten what seems to be a malware attack when accessing the forum from my mobile (Android/Chrome.)

Doesn't happen on every pageload, but inevitably something called zerodirect (I think) hijacks the browser and sends it to a scareware site ("your computer has a virus! Running scan!!!") Also initiates one of those protocols that keeps you from hitting the back button to get out of it. Have to shut down the browser to make the madness stop.

Though this does make me nostalgic for the days of looking at porn sites circa 2003 or so, it's obviously a discouragement as far as looking at BM on my mobile.

Does not happen on any other website. Also I think it may have to do with me inadvertently touching the video ad at the top of each page.
