Hopefully v the rags! He's saving his 200th for, er, which match?
Not necessarily an injury as such, just a bit of discomfort. Not that I’m a pro but I’ve currently got a niggle in my knee, still play fine on a Monday but I know when I don’t play for 2 weeks it’s always a little easier. Assume similar sketch, Serg could probably play tomorrow I’d guess but we figure no point taking a risk and he then has 2 weeks break to rest it.
Hope you’re right mate, cos Jesus looked like something they fished out of the Ship Canal on Tuesday he was that rusty!
Wouldn't have travelled too much anyway, as one of their games is at the Etihad, against Italy, the other in Madrid. Will not now have to travel for international team.
Should be back for Everton if its only a couple of weeks out.Should be back for the derby.
Bad news and shows we should have signed another striker in January as cover.
I'm surprised more people aren't slightly suspicious about this. No controversy about Aguero being "dropped" in favor of Jesus against Stoke, gets out of some meaningless international friendlies, and recovers in time for our next game. Very convenient.Screams a Fergie-style “injury” to me.
Say what you will, he was a master of the dark arts and manipulating the international selection system.
Never as easy mate when playing with the second string, I don’t think he overly exerted himself.Hope you’re right mate, cos Jesus looked like something they fished out of the Ship Canal on Tuesday he was that rusty!
Who do you have us down to play next weekend? The blank weekend is in two weeks' time, isn't it? Throw in the fact that we have no game next weekend (thanks Wigan!) and it'll be nearly three weeks until we play again after tomorrow.
