    Such an argument only makes sense if you follow Pep's logic that ideally everyone on the pitch is a midfielder.

    I'm older than Rodders himself and I'm not worried about Sanchez joining.

    Anyone who compares a contemporary issue to something that happened more than 40 years ago, is lacking any semblance of critical analysis.

    I think your eyes are deceiving you.

    There is data out there for this and his "average position" in the last 5 games he has started is always in an advanced position. In fact in 2 of those games he he was the "highest" Arsenal player on the pitch. In the other 3 games he was the "2nd highest" and clearly in an, er, forward position.
