Alternative striker options

think th and maybe even Billyshears alluded to the fact that we would buy another attacker if we miss out on on main two targets....could be wrong but i seem to recall it mentioned

Bony would be good for third choice. We own him, he doesnt cost, he has something to prove and we need to put him in the shop window. He will hardly get used, he is sat there earning money for nothing, make use of him. No need to spend 40-60m on someone who would be third choice.

Harry Kane. Put simply. Don't care of Spurs reject it. Just get a bid known to the agent, the player, the league. In 12 months his head will be turned.

That Ivorian lad who used to play for Swansea banged them in...can't remember his name..

The problem is anyone that is likely to be useful to us, is probably too good to want to be third choice. How many of them are actually better than playing Raheem at striker? Or using Kevin or Bernardo as a false 9. Certainly an attacking lineup of Sane, Kevin, Raheem, Silva, Gundogen, and Bernardo has enough goals in it to manage for a bit if both Aguerro and Jesus are injured. Can Diaz play up top? He seems to have a nose for goal.

If we don't get either Sanchez or Mbappe then it would be a hell of a risk going into the season with just two recognised strikers in the squad. You would have to assume that the club have a contingency plan.
