He's a really good keeper but Ederson looks absolutely top drawer, as does Muric. That's tough competition.

I agree about Gunn's nationality making him a good candidate to be Ederson's backup, but also fairly certain Muric will be homegrown in a year? Could be wrong

I can't see any keeper ever going straight into the team from the academy, even Muric. If I'm right about that then Gunn may get his chance when Muric goes on his loan(s) to get experience, even if Muric eventually surpasses him as second choice.

The main problem though is that if Muric or Gunn are genuinely good enough to play for us, they'll probably leave because of Ederson. Anyone that good isn't going to waste their career playing the league cup and hoping for an injury, at best we'll get a couple of seasons out of them.

I think we will sell him just because he will want to play now he has the taste of it

He's a brilliant keeper,he pretty much has everything in his locker.

He would be brilliant competition for Ederson but both would rightly want the shirt permanently.

Because of such,i too can see him moving on.

He is a good keeper, but I think Muric is already better than he was before Gunn left

Muric certainly softens the blow should Gunn move on,however, given his obvious talent,we may find ourselves suffering a similar scenario with him too.

We almost have an embarrasment of riches.
