Antoine Griezmann?

I'd like to see Navas stay but we need cover for Aguero that's not going to be benched every game when he's fit.

I certainly value Navas but having a winger that's quick and has that end product would give our attack another dimension. Right now we have two wingers that have poor finishing.

And the fact he can play centrally too gives us options. Would be a lovely signing!

Been talking about this in the Gundogan thread, the reason we've been so reliant on Yaya for goals has been the lack from attacking midfield and the wings. Sterling should get decent returns going forward (double figures this season) and Kev has 15 this season already and will only get better. Would be nice to have another player capable of it too. We'll start winning the bigger games again when we've more than just Sergio as a threat in the forward areas.

I agree, having a goalscorer on the wings along with Kev and Kun would mean we have the third/fourth best forward line in the world IMO. We saw yesterday how good we can be on the counter but we only had two players that could finish. Navas is very predictable and defenders aren't as worried if he gets into good positions because he lacks that end product. Having a 20 goal a season winger as well as a deep-lying playmaker ala Gundogan would give us an attack that threatens every defence in the world.

While leaving us less porous in midfield than we are with Yaya/Dinho, more creative than we are with Fernando/Dinho and with more mobility than Fernando/Yaya, result :)

Exactly :)

One thing you're also forgetting is that Griezmann plays for Simone's Atletico; a team reknowned for workrate. Having a player that's willing to track back with such quality going forward would be fantastic.

Yep, although I can't see him doing as much as Navas tbf.

He would be the prefect Marque signing for us instead of Pogba, perfect age, technically fantastic, positional flexibility.

If we were smart we need to buy players like him.
Nor just because of how much he would add to us (doesn't need saying) but also how much he would add to our competitors if he joined them instead.

Imagine missing out and then seeing him at manure alongside martial, or with Willand / Costa at Chelsea, or paired up with alexis at arsenal.
Getting him here would be a 20-point swing practically, something like beating arsenal to alexis or Chelsea to hazard.

We don't need him. Priorities lie elsewhere
