Just after some advice really, ive had a new Mac for a few months but don't feel like im getting my moneys worth. Any good Apps of anything like that? or excuses to use it?
Actually you can usually get a better spec on PC's and the techy bit is just wrong. The benefit of a mac is the screens and graphics are awsome. The system is no hassle and it does not corrupt itself over time. You only really get the best out of them by using very intensive software such as photoshop or advanced video or sound editing.
The haters will point out you can get the exact same spec on a pc but you need to be a bit of techy to get a pc to work the same way and stay working the same way where as the mac just works out of the box.
If you spent the same amount of money on a Windows machine as you do a Mac you'll get just as good a build quality. Why is a company updating it's software giving more features and bug fixes a bad thing? You don't think Apple update (and frequently get it very wrong)? My PC boots up from cold (I usually use sleep mode during the day which is even quicker) in just 17 seconds, how quick do you want?I moved over to Mac two years ago cos I was fed up with Windows with its constant updates, slow boot-up time and shoddy build quality of the laptops. Not regretted it one bit.
Christ, mate, I don't want to get into an argument about which is better. There's nothing more f***in tedious than arguments between Apple fanboys and Windows fanboys. We all know Apple do updates. I only gave my personal experience of the two systems, as I use both on a daily basis. Both have their advantages and disadvantages; however, I personally prefer Apple, which does not, contrary to some people's opinions, make me the devil. Each to their own.If you spent the same amount of money on a Windows machine as you do a Mac you'll get just as good a build quality. I wasn't aware we were having an argument bud, and I've not stated that one is better than the other either, just corrected some tired old cliches that get rolled out. if you read through those couple of posts it's you that seems a bit irate for whatever reason.Christ, mate, I don't want to get into an argument about which is better. Back on topic, boo...Book some tuition at your local Apple or Stormfront store.(apple.co.uk under support)... its free and they'll show you how to get the best from your mac
