Spoke to an Arsenal fan at work this morning and I said about the rags and how their attitude to the League Cup has done a complete 180 degree turn in 12 months.
"Yeah, but it is a Mickey Mouse trophy isn't it?," was his reply.

I've never called the League Cup a Mickey Mouse trophy.
It was the first thing I remember us winning and from '76-2011, it was all I/we had to cling to.
