For the bulk of the last 11 years our main competition has been the best ever Chelsea team and a Man Utd side that got to three champions league finals in three years during a time Arsenal had to be sensible with their finances thus we were never expected to win the title.

Of course other teams have had injuries too but stats will show you Arsenal's injury frequency has been higher than every other club in the division since 2013, had players remained fit I'm convinced we'd of won the league in 2014 and 20169

Persistent injuries aren't merely attributable to bad luck. If Arsenal's injury record is so very bad, then questions should be asked about their fitness, sports science and medical departments. They are clearly not fulfilling their roles properly. And that is attributable to bad club management every bit as much as buying the wrong players or hiring the wrong manager.

Questions should also be asked of Arsenal's squad depth if the replacements are not of the required standard.

Clubs that win titles keep their players fit and / or have good enough replacements to maintain a title challenge in the event of injuries. Clearly Arsenal have failed in these respects. Blaming such failure on bad luck is a mere copout.
