Ashton Under Lyne

With the Chelsea game now an evening kick off i have booked the travel lodge in Ashton Under Lyne.It looks easy enough to get to but what bus number do i get from Piccadilly Square.Can i get a bus from AUL to the stadium.Any decent pubs in AUL.Thanks.

if memory serves me right there are two buses that go from Ashton down Ashton New Road which will drop you off outside the ground

Think the 216 goes to Ashton doesn't it? Or is it Droylsden?

Either way, you should be able to get one which goes down Ashton New Road straight to the stadium.

216 is the bus u need. drops u right near ground and also next to TL when coming back.
