Australia v Saudi Arabia

Don't remember us doing a minute silence for the suicide bombing in kabul . Leave mourning to the professionals in Klanfield
Not the point though.
Australia were playing Saudi and Aussies were killed in London.
They chose to ignore their hosts call for a moments respect.

Absolute fucking disgrace that.

Their country more than likely helps fund the organisation that took responsibility for the attack so does this surprise anyone?

You any proof of that?

If the we allow the assertion that the country of Saudi Arabia is funding terrorism to stand, which is what the poster was alluding to, then I think it's not too much of a logical step to suppose that potentially some of this funding may come in the form of arms, which the UK provides to Saudi Arabia in spades.

"Analysis of HM Revenue and Customs figures by Greenpeace EnergyDesk shows that in 2015 83% of UK arms exports – almost £900m – went to Saudi Arabia. Over the same period, the UK imported £900m of oil from the kingdom."

No. The assertion is that some wealthy Saudi's fund terrorism.

So you have no evidence that they give arms bought from the UK to terrorists.

Right-o.
