Very much doubt Barca or Real will pay £51m. They usually spend the big money on attackers. Anyway Laporte is good, but he is not £51m good. The guy would be worlds most expensive defender.Have to imagine we'd be in the drivers seat in the league if this lad came to us. Absolutely superb and heroic defending beating Barca tonight with 9 men.
Will be playing for them or Real this time next year.

This is good news, if he can continue to stay healthy he's worth it!
Absolute no brainer if this lad has changed his mind, apparently he has been talking to the media, signalling just so. Simon Mullock is meant to be one of the journalists connected closer to the club, so you would have to think there's something in this. He was absolutely superb against Barca the other night and I reckon we're the only ones who will part with the money for him.
