I hadn't thought too much, but yes, it probably means needing the right midfielder and either a central midfielder or centrehalf to go with one as well.
Being able to overload both sides could be quite interesting to watch.

It's so exciting to think this team is only 70-80% of the way there.

His crossing is some of the best I’ve ever seen for a defender. Hit a first time cross in the Bournemouth game iirc, that was absolutely spectacular.

Going forward will be a major asset.

Don't think he'll get on the bench et****il the leagues won.

Bit less pressure on all concerned & wouldn't trust a rag not to kick him.

Hope he's back soon, some big games coming up in April.

Come on lads, it's not so difficult.

You certainly won't play your comeback from ACL at Goodison, nor vs a physical rag side.

Pep has said what's clear anyway, Mendy won't be the same player after that injury, he will get minutes in a very controlled way.
I think it will be at home for sure, against the likes of Brighton, Swansea, Huddersfield.

CL semis was Mendy's dream, and we might get there. But that's a long way for Mendy. Pep won't take any risk, rightly so.
